Salt Lake City Golf Courses

We are very fortunate in Utah, some say spoiled, to have so many choices of excellent golf courses to play. The highest number of courses per capita in the nation, and they are all challenging, well-maintained, and the best part, inexpensive to play. So if you're planning to visit, bring your clubs, you will enjoy playing here.

Here are some links to our golf course websites

Salt Lake City Golf Courses
Two of my favorite Utah golf courses are Bonneville golf course and Mountain Dell golf course because they are challenging, fun to play, but more importantly because of the views, incredible!. Wingepointe golf course near the Salt Lake International Airport is wonderful to play as well. It is a links style course, challenging and worth every bit of the $27. greens fee. Salt Lake City has a tee-time reservation service that allows you to reserve a tee time at any golf course operated by Salt Lake City 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

StoneBridge Golf Club
Johnny Miller's latest contribution to the Utah golf scene is the 27-hole Scottish links style layout, situated in the Lake Park Corporate Center on Bangerter Highway (4000 West) and 2400 South. The location is terrific, just five minutes from the airport and about 10 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, accessible by a major highway. Tee times can be made up to 7 days in advance by calling 801-957-9000.

Wasatch Golf Course in Midway ia another favorite of mine. The well known Mountain and Lake courses at Wasatch Mountain State Park are consistently ranked among the most popular, affordable and scenic in Utah. Nationally, Golf Digest rated Wasatch Mountain as one of Utah's Best Places to Play, giving the facility 4.5 out of 5 stars. At an elevation of 6,000 feet, golfers enjoy cooler temperatures during summer months, but surprisingly, the course also offers early spring and late fall play.

Valley View in Layton is another incredible course! Well maintained, picturesque, a public course and yes, affordable.

Wolf Creek Resort... About 90 minutes north of Salt Lake, up Ogden Canyon, is Wolf Creek Resort. Golf in paradise on Wolf Creek Utah's championship links. A tough course, but oh-so gorgeous, and the views are incredible! Surrounded by Upper Ogden Valley's spectacular mountains, meadows, and lakes, Wolf Creek Utah creates a destination to golf, relax and dine so amazing and unforgettable, you will not want to leave.
